There are two types of account verification, Account Upgrade Verification and Account Update Verification. Here we will guide you through both processes of verification.
Account Upgrade Verification
This type of account verification occurs when you upgrade your account to a verified status. Doing this will allow you to have access to the higher limit when funding your account with your debit or credit card. This is done from the main dashboard of your account.
First, you will click on your initial in the right upper corner of the screen. Then a drop-down menu will appear and you will select Settings.
Then you will see your account information. Scroll down to the bottom where it says Security Level and click on Upgrade to verify your account.
Next, you will see a pop-up prompting you to use the QR code or enter your phone number to relieve a text. Once you have accessed the verification page you will be guided to first take a picture of the front of your license, then the back, and then finally take a selfie.
Account Update Verification
This type of verification occurs when you request documents or to change information on your account. When you reach out to our customer success team to do this, a Winden agent will request account verification from you. You will receive a verification link in your response from the Winden agent.
If you open the link using a computer you will be prompted to use your smartphone to complete the verification
Once you access the link using a smartphone you will be prompted to complete verification by selecting Let's Go
From there you will follow the prompts to complete verification. Once your verification is complete a Winden agent will reach out to you. Please let us know if you have any questions during this process.
